There's an Iguana in our kitchen!

Its official. Catherine is now in charge of all aesthetic decisions. After patiently enduring my moaning and groaning over the colour choice for the kitchen while at the paint counter, but a surprisingly enjoyable day laying it out on the walls, I concede that my own personal aesthetician really knew her stuff when she picked the kitchen colours.

The previous ahem-- "colour", could charitably be called "Old Dingy Underwear White"

Not so with the hot new Asparagus Green Iguana Green. I'll not have an "Asparagus" kitchen in my home, and I fully expect Behr Paints to make the necessary changes to their labels. Even without the casing, backsplash or floors you can see how this kitchen just plain rocks.

Strange that just painting seems to be such a drastic a large step forward, but it did impart a sense of progress that so few other steps in this process have to date.

Next up, trolling Craig's List for a decent table saw . . .
